Still unsure about some things??  Check out some of these frequently asked questions.

Where are you located?

At 19039 Bushard, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
**Take note: BUSHARD ST. is closed so please add on a few minutes traveling time when coming to the studio.
How much our your classes?

It depends on the class, please see our "class prices" section for details.  Also, we have a few specials every month.
Who teaches the classes?

Industry professionals who have made it their goal to give you the best instruction they can.  It is very imposrtant that our teachers be professionals who have been dancing and teaching for many, many years.  Far too many pole dance and traditional dance teachers are just trained for a few months and sent out to work, we believe it has to be more then just training required to teach a class.  You wouldn't take ice sckating lessons from someone who just leanred to ice skate 7 months ago would you?  Same goes for our teachers, all have been in the industry and teaching for a long time so your instruction is going to be top of the line.

How many people are going to be in each class?

That depends on the type of class it is.  Some classes can fit more people then other classes.  Usually anywhere from 5-15 people in each class.

Can I take a private class before I start in with the group classes?

Absolutely!  You can schedule a private lesson just give us a call.  We will place you with a great teacher and help you out in anyway you need.  You can schedule as many private classes as you like, however our beginning classes take really great care of brand new students!

How do I sign up for a class?

Currently we do not offer sign ups over the internet, however you can come into our studio and talk with us and figure out what classes you would like to take.  You pay for all your classes at our studio, or through paypal, or over the phone with a credit card.  Please see our section on how to sign up.

How early do I need to get to the studio before my class?

Arriving 15 minutes prior to class is recommended.  When you arrive you must sign in with the receptionist BEFORE you start the class.  If you have to purchase shoes or other class equipment please come earlier.  We also might not have your size in shoes or apparel so make sure you try to have everything before the class or call us ahead of time to make sure we have your sizes!  If you are more then 5 minutes late for class we will not allow you to participate, so make sure you are early!!

Do you sell all the things I need for class in your store?

Almost.  We offer a variety of dance clothing, fitness attire, and shoes, however we do not carry all sizes in everything and we may have items out of stock.  We also carry coin belts, and veils for the belly dance classes, and several other little items that might come in handy!!

Are pets, food and drinks, or children allowed?

Nope...sorry.  We cannot babysit your children.  Our studio age level is 16 and older for most of the classes, but 18 and over for a few other classes.  Anyone in our store must be taking a class or buying from our store.  We do not have a waiting room for friends or family (or pets!) to wait while you are in class.  However, there are other shops along with a few beauty salons in our center!  Feel free to have friends and family enjoy all the other great places in our center while you work out!  We also do not allow food or drinks with the exception of water bottles!

What if I have two left feet and want to take class, is there anything I can do to be prepared?

Ya know, everyone has some kind of rhythm in them, sometimes it just takes a little time to get it out!  We recommend scheduling a private lesson first if you are not to confident in your street beat.  The instructor will then tell you what class she feels would be the best for you.

There are alot of pole dance studio popping up all over, how do I know yours is the best?

First off, all of our pole dance instructors are technically trained dancers, which means they have an extensive dance background, far beyond exotic dancing.  They know correct body placement, hand placement, and how your body should look and move while dancing.  Many newer dance studios hire women who ONLY have exotic dance experience, or are not dancers but maybe they have taken an interest in pole dancing and decide to become teachers.  Far too many studios offer a "training" program for pole teachers.  We highly suggest against those types of training programs.  We feel that you wouldn't take ice skating lessons from someone who just learned to ice skate 8 months ago, why would you take pole dancing from someone who was "trained" in a matter of months?

Technical dance training (ballet, jazz, modern, etc) is VERY important for any dance instructor and is required by our company.

While there are many great places for pole dance training out there, we feel that we can offer more then just one style of dance education.  Beyond just pole dancing we offer Jazz, Burlesque, Hip Hop, Ballet, etc.  All great for the basic body movements used in alot of the pole classes.  We also offer classes where you will learn exactly what you would be doing as if you were in a club.  (i mean your taking pole dancing right? You gotta have alittle fun!!)  We want your experience to be fun and yet a workout.

How should I go about selecting the best class for me?

Come down to our studio and talk with the receptionist about what you are looking to accomplish.  If you want a fun class to learn a few new moves or you want a great workout, we can help you find the class that will suit you the best!
